Practice statement Sept 2024

I fascinate, research, then form, reflect and reshape.

My focus is on organic “anything” – systems, materials, shapes and theory. If it happens in nature, it is likely I’ve tried digging my nails into the subject and exploring it.

My practice comes from a fascination with nature and organic matter: Its life and decay. I take inspiration from forest walks, beach visits, hikes, but also little grasps of nature building themselves a home in urban areas.

I’ve done projects on similarities between skin & streetscapes, I’ve made bioplastics from plants that are considered pests, and focus on the little things and their position, rather than the big picture.
